Reading
Reading is such an amazing adventure! I am so blessed to be able to teach it.
For the past three years, your child was learning to read. This is the transition year where they came from learning to read to reading to learn.
We will read a lot of passages, articles, magazines, and books to delve deep to discover their hidden treasures.

Reading Homework
Reading homework will start Monday, August 22nd. Your child will get the homework on Monday. The homework will be due the following Monday.
It is your child's responsibility to complete five of the bingo squares in one week. Your child doesn't have to make "Bingo" when completing the assignment. S/he can choose any square to complete. Then, you will sign the homework. This will let me know that your child worked for twenty minutes each night on their homework.
